It was previously announced that Stephen Fung’s steampunk martial arts movie “Tai Chi O” would ultimately become a trilogy of films. Last year, Hong Kong actors Daniel Wu and Stephen Fung teamed up to create their own film studio, with the express purpose of finding and introducing new martial arts talent to the world. Today Indiewire reports that Well Go USA will be distributing the studio’s first film, “Tai Chi O,” in North America. The film is directed by Stephen Fung with “Ip Man’s” Sammo Hung serving as action director. It stars William Feng, Eddie Peng, and pop star Angelababy. “Tai Chi O” will be released in the US and Canada in early 2013.
