Hollywood has a new cops-and-robbers picture coming out and you couldn’t ask for a better cast than this: Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, and Sean Penn headline a roster that also includes Emma Stone, Robert Patrick, Michael Pena, and Giovanni Ribisi. The film is called ”Gangster Squad” and it tells the true-to-life-story of how the Los Angeles Police Department formed a ruthless gang of cops to take down mobster Micky Cohen in the late 40′s. David Ayer, the writer of “Training Day,” is back with a new gritty cop movie set in the heart of Los Angeles.
