Back in 1969, Bruce Lee co-wrote a high concept, post-apocalyptic fantasy film called “The Silent Flute.” Four years after Lee’s death, the script was adapted into a the David Carradine-starring “Circle of Iron” but that film deviated heavily from Lee’s original vision. Now Empire Magazine reports that funding is in place for a $25 million-budgeted adaptation of Bruce Lee’s original screenplay, to begin filming next year.
